You know by now my name is Sam Henry or you would not have found me. I was born in the wild wonderful great state of West Virginia. I grew up in West Virginia and will probably die in West Virginia. I have always been interested in people and try to make a difference. It is easier to curse the darkness than to light a candle.

You will find perhaps, some contradictions on my site. I’m not afraid to say that I am a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters; also I am not ashamed to say I am a Christian. I also believe politics affect every aspect of our daily lives. Some years ago I was fortunate enough to attend a labor conference in Washington D.C. I was excited to meet and hear Senator Ted Kennedy speak. The thing I remember Senator Kennedy saying was,” here within the belt way, the President and Congress could enact laws to help our economy, but until business leaders decide to invest in people and products instead of money, the economy is not likely to change.”

Later I was listening to Evangelist Billy Graham speaking about the economy in the United States. His belief is, until men’s hearts are changed through the acceptance of Gods Son Jesus Christ into their hearts, things will not change.
